i was happy that dia and javier were the top two, and i agree that all four of them will probably end up with recording contracts. all of their duets were pretty meh, i thought. vicci sounded good on hers, but it was a weird choice. dia's was like a key too low, beverly's was such a strange choice considering the stuff she normally sings, and i vehemently disagree with adam levine that javier's was the most beautiful duet in all of duet-town. MEH.
carson daly sucks soooooo much, i really hope they change hosts in the off-season. barf. he said 'ryan teeder,' for heaven's sake!
hee, i totally caught that xtina boob adjustment, too. i hit 'replay' a couple of times because it cracked me up.

It didn't seem like an adjustment though! It seemed like a "eee I'm so excited I'm gonna squeeze my boobs to show it!" Kind of thing

haha, I just saw the boob thing. It seemed like she was just kinda pushing up her dress/boobs.
Eek! The One Republic song was awful. :\ I agree all the songs were pretty bad. I didn't like the Stevie Nicks song, either.
I think I would have wanted Blake as my coach only because he's so (seemingly) sweet!

So happy Javier won, although in all honesty I probably wouldn't buy a cd from any of them. Maybe Bev, but it depends. None of them are really my thing.
What was the point of those awful duets last night? I would've rather rewatched the duets with the coaches.
Re: Xtina's boob adjustment. I found it hilarious last night, and even moreso that the camera didn't cut away. Who the hell ever knows what she's doing. I will say that she looked the best she has all season last night. Seems like she actually spent some time on her hair instead of just having a huge frizzball mess, especially considering how back in the day she used to have gorgeous hair.

Finally just caught up on this. I'm glad Javier won, but not based on his performances this week. I hope all of the top 4 get some sorta deal...even though Dia kinda bores me.
Can I just say how much I frickin loved Vicci and Ceelo doing "Love is a Battlefield?" Greatness.

Yeah, I've been watching. They just finished the blind auditions last night. I'm not really blown away by the people I've seen so far, but I kind of want to nibble on Adam Levine so there's that... (he seems kind of like a douchenozzle, but I can fantasize right?)

I'm not sure if there are any contestants I'm bananas about so far, but I could probably pick favorites from each team: Jordis Unga from Blake, Juliet Simms and Jamie Lono (sandwich fella) from Cee Lo, Lindsay Pavao and maybe Geoff McBride or Sera Hill from Christina, and not sure about Adam's team. Maybe Katrina Parker, the blonde lady? I'll have to rethink these when I see the battle thingies next week.

I dunno, I've liked a lot of the contestants so far. My favorite by far though is Jordis. I've loved her since Rockstar: INXS.
I don't really see Adam as being douche-y though, just super passionate.

Hopefully some of the others grow on me as the season goes on.

I'm not too excited by anyone yet, but so far it seems that Cee Lo and Christina have the best groups overall. I love Adam, but didn't like too many of his choices this time. Blake seemed to go for the same type as last season. I also hope Christina dosen't screw up picking duos for her battles and has to get rid of the opera singing guy Chris. Maybe just because I thought he was cute? And I totally didn't realize that was Jordis from Rockstar! I loved that show, she was pretty good.

Have you guys noticed how the judges all wanted to pick people who "didn't sound like anyone else" - yet they all sounded like each other? Namely, the girls who do that thing with drawn out vowels and weird enunciation (I'm sure there's a name for that style, but I have no idea what it is).
Cee Lo and the cat are totally my favorite part of this show. Oh, and Christina's INSANE wardrobe, which I'm sure we'll be getting to next week. Right, and also the fantastic eye candy that is Adam.

The first three picked to go on were my favorites of the battles, really glad Tony and Chris got to go forward. I was worried that the operatic sound Chris had would stop Christina from picking him. Was surprised when Blake picked Jordis, she just tries too hard to go where she knows her voice can't, just like when she was on Rockstar. Was not happy with Cee Lo not picking Angela!
I usually dislike reality shows, but this one always gets me excited.

I wasn't blown away by any of the battles except the last (wow!). I really wanted Angela to go through, but the other girl (ch...) did seem to outdo her.
I wonder what the timeline of the actual show is. It seems like they do all the match ups in a day, then those rehearsals all in a couple days, then do they go home for a while? They seem to have all the battles in 1 night.
