Usually when people say that, I read them anyway. Not today! I've learned; enjoy the content, don't look down, and get out while you still like humans.

I'm starting to finally understand this.

These were funny, though I didn't get some of them.

If men had to put up with the same crepe as women. (pop culture)

The Sleeping Beauty one looked a little creepy and I didn't get the winner. He Hulk was sexy.

Kal, those were really good, and maddeningly accurate.

I understood them all, if you'd like any clarifications.

I didn't get the last one. Not sure who was in the pic or what it was a reference to? Also didn't get the unemployed one. What was that a reference to?

The Hannity one had me cracking up.

And here is a comic strip to refer to anytime someone says "there's more important things to worry about than women's issues!"

Kal, I think the Hannity one was my favorite, too.

The unemployment one: if male entertainers were held to the outrageous beauty standards that women are, those men would all be unemployed.

The last one is referencing a "wardrobe malfunction" in which Janet Jackson's nipple (and nipple shield) were seen during a Super Bowl performance with Justin Timberlake. It was HUGE news at the time. Seeing a man's chest is no news at all.

Oh I get it now. I'm surprised I didn't get the wardrobe malfunction! But when I looked closer I saw that she was holding pants. (Didn't notice them before)

Also didn't realize that those were actors in the unemployment picture. I get it now.

What is the spider one from?

Darn, I forgot about the spider one. I don't get it, either. What movie is it alluding to, does anyone know? Photo #29, Bruce Willis preparing to shoot a spider.

Looks like some college students developed a finger nail polish that can detect the presence of date rape drugs.

I've been reading The Worst Muse Twitter feed and it is hilarious! Some of my favorite include

If she has curves, make sure to verify that they are in all the right places
A seasoned warrior wearing plate armor that protects none of her vital organs or major blood vessels.
Don't you think it's time for a gritty live-action reboot?
Your protagonist is just a little too perfect? Maybe consider making her adorably clumsy and in need of frequent rescue.
A brilliant and driven woman who finds fulfillment only when she subsumes her talents and desires to a man's? How subversive of you!
In the future, the same names will be popular that are popular now, but they'll all be spelled differently.
Why *wouldn't* the mature females of a sapient non-mammalian species have killer racks?
When you introduce a new female supporting character, take a moment to clarify whether your protagonist would "tap that."
You're right: A sanitized Medieval France where everyone's white and uses modern idioms is a very original setting. Go for it.

Well this was very funny. Rebecca parodies her letter from Dawkins after he tweeted about people having issues with something Sam Harris had to say.
