Mad props to Alan Grayson. I remember hearing about him on the NPR driving a giant caddy and being a real progresive Dem. and thinking he had the perfect superhero name. Maybe he will be back in office for the end of the world in 2012?

Major bummer. My hometown and parents are in his district, and it's pretty conservative. I have no idea how he got elected last time. My dad sees him at city events sometimes and says he expected not to win this one, but will remain in politics in some way.
