Maybe there is already a thread on this but I haven't seen one.

I was just wondering what people think about these terms that are variations on vegan and/or vegetarian, I ran into this thread and thought I'd bring it here since this is clearly a way better forum :)

Odd, they don't mention peeganism. That's one of the most important *ganisms.

I don't like threads that link to another forum to talk about what they're already talking about. Why not just join their conversation? It seems creepy. Creepanism.

I've never heard of sneakerboot, but I officially hate shooties and jeggings. Well, the words, anyway.

I'm a treegan. And, strangely, an amputeegan.

I can't think of any clean definition for this. Maybe I've been on the internet too long.

The only animal products I eat are amputated (human) limbs.

Pretty straightforward.

Oooookay. That makes more sense than what I was thinking.

(I was thinking you ate the amputees. As it were.)

I have never heard anyone use the term 'seagan'. Even as a joke.

Do know one girl who calls herself vegetarian but eats fish 'because it's good for her' and one man who calls himself vegetarian but occasionally eats artisan bacon. And cooked roast chicken for Christmas because he wanted to re-learn how to stomach meat in case there were no veggie options when he went on holiday abroad.

All those words are overkill. They're also generally misleading; it's not as though pescatarians eat soley fish, or beegans only eat bees.

The itchiness around my ankles would suggest that my cat's fleas are definitely not strict catgans.

I know someone who eats a mostly vegan diet, but who eats meat occasionally because they're a survivalist. You know, in case the zombie apocalypse comes or they're stranded in the Andes with nothing to eat but their fellow passengers. Then again, they're also Libertarian, so you know...
