I read it in another forum that Scotland is really pushing fr gay-marriages. I think Scotland did a great job trying to protect everyone - it doesn't force the clergy to accept its concepts. I think that's quite rare.
Way to go Scotland!

The law will also allow trans people to stay married to their partners during transition, rather than getting divorced in order to be legally recognised as a different gender. That's pretty forking awesome.
