I don't think this has been posted already, but this awesome article about 10 Simple Words Every Girl Should Learn:

"Stop interrupting me."

"I just said that."

"No explanation needed."

The name "Manfeels Park" is pure genius, as its mission statement: "an exercise in flogging a pun for all it’s worth. The male dialogue in this webcomic is all taken word for word or adapted only slightly from web commentary by hurt and confused men with Very Important Things To Explain, usually to women." Unfortunately, I feel like using comic illustrations based on the TV Pride and Prejudice kind of ruins it, since 1. Fanny Price (the protagonist of MP), unlike Lizzie Bennet, really needs to get hooked up with the concept of female agency, and 2. all Jane Austen's novels are not actually the same, dammit! But it's still worth a look and a laugh.

Eh, I lived in the US for 28 years, and hardly anyone ever asked for my number. It still makes me happy.

Not sure if this belongs here but a female neonatalogist in Ethiopia is featured in this video. She is brilliant and comes up with inventive ways to use the equipment they have to save premature babies.

Inspiring but also terribly sad.

As usual, don't read the comments.

I would love to send that man all the best, most supportive comments from the internet.
Thanks for linking to the piece, moon. I wouldn't have found it otherwise.

Imogen posted it, but I agree that I'm happy it was shared since I haven't seen it elsewhere.

Here is a good article on the myth of with holding sex as punishment. I've always hated when people would say "Don't withhold sex as a punishment." What? So does that mean I still have to have sex with my partner even if I'm pissed off at him?
