It's unclear on why they hadn't yet been cremated but two of the temple's undertakers admitting to agreeing to dispose of the remains for illegal abortion providers. It's so sad that there is clearly such a demand for abortion but rather than legalize it the Thai government wants to make it even harder to obtain one.

ew! that picture! can you imagine opening one of those bags and finding a fetus plus whatever else is in there?

criminalising abortion doesn't lessen the demand for the procedure, but i wish that governments would make sure that citizens are well-informed about birth control/contraceptives. i mean, if abortions are so offensive, then help people prevent forking conception!

I agree with you, I really do. The problem is that that won't happen. It's unfortunate, but women the world over are looked on as little more than womb donors, objects of sexual gratification and subservient. These issues affect the availability of not only abortion, but hormonal contraception and other prophylactic methods geared towards women. It's sad.
