http://www.ford.com/cars/cmax/I like the concept of C-Max, but unfortunately it's existence is the reason the Escape no longer comes in hybrid form.
I'd love to see Ford run a hybrid setup in their F150 lineup (in addition, or even tied to the ecoboost engine). GM did it briefly with the Tahoe/Yukon/Silverado/Sierra, it may not have been a mpg king but it increased city mpg by a few, and in a full sized truck that can make for a huge impact in gas use over the course of a year.
Chevy is coming out with a diesel in the Cruz, and an EV in the spark. Mazda is going to start bringing diesels over (beginning with the 3 and the 6 if I remember correctly, and possibly in the cx-5). Dodge is also saying they're going to offer a diesel in the half ton Ram. It's taken decades, and they're still dragging their feet as much as possible, but we're finally starting to see gas alternative engines becoming widely (widerly?) available in the US.
