It's not hard to see how someone into dietary restriction, whether from a genuine health concern or disordered eating, could be attracted to veganism. All of the anti-whatever diets drive me a little crazy, but I get it. It's not that much of a leap to eliminate something (like dairy and eggs), and then something else, and then something else.
