It's alleged that two men ran over another man then decapitated him at around 4pm this afternoon.

News articles are alleging that it's a terrorist attack due to political statements made at the scene by a man with bloodied hands and clothing, holding a bloody meat cleaver.

Saddening and very disturbing. I want to read more, but I don't know if I can stand to see that blood-soaked cleaver picture again. And now the EDL is protesting/rioting/intimidating. Love to PPKers across the pond!

Besides finding out what really happened and why, the start of right wing protests and attacks is my biggest concern. So much hatred is coming out off the back of this.

In the aftermath of this there have been EDL protests in several cities and some mosques have been petrol bombed. The most recent is the Grimsby mosque, which was today hit for the second time in three days.

This outpouring of hatred is what I was afraid would happen.

Me, too; it's all the Little Englanders needed as an excuse to go irrationally batshit. The whole thing is enormously upsetting.

I read about this, a good antidote to the stuff that is being whipped up elsewhere.

There was the tiniest saddest group of protesters in Manchester on Saturday. There were about two police officers for every man. I think the thing that sickens me most of all is that those messed-up, disordered attackers have put thousands of Muslims in danger.

I was really happy to read about how the situation was turned around in York.
