Reading an article about Stand Up 2 Cancer's campaign to raise awareness using famous YouTubers.... who are all white, young, slender, and attractive. They've since expanded their team to include a more diverse cross-section of YouTubers after a lot of folks justifiably raised questions around whose awareness is meant to be raised, exactly, and of course, the most underserved populations needing awareness and treatment are precisely the ones not being represented in this campaign. Anyway, I just can't with the comments (I know, never read the comments).

I guess I never really appreciated before how much I (as a white person) am entitled to inform someone else of how their experiences affect them. /sarcasm
