I once watched a cop in the Wally-world parking lot ignore (actively) a drug deal. The officer saw it, and ignored it. I understand now that since it was obviously a drug deal, there was nothing suspicious there and did not need to be addressed. On a serious note, this is very very scary.

maybe i'm inured to this sort of thing, because i live in an nyc saturated with admonitions of "if you see something, say something," but the video/message itself seems pretty tame to me. of course, i'm bothered by the idea of a megacorporation partnering with a government agency for any purpose, and by wal-mart in general.

This is the worst! Just what people shopping at Walmart in middle America need. To be told be afraid in their little dinky towns? So angering. Something tells me impromptu gun purchases at Walmarts will go up now.
