This idea is absolutely petrifying.

Mostly due to the widespread desire to repeal health care, bc it's 'unconstitutional'. And there would definitely be enough states eager to disagree with most changes.

This can't possibly go horribly wrong! And god knows state legislatures are better judges of the constitutionality of laws than the entire judicial branch of the federal government!

Not going to happen though. Even if the state legislatures of the "purple states" swung in favor of the law, that still wouldn't come even close to the three-quarters of states necessary to ratify the amendment.
