I think there's an actual FDA classification system where certain things are "flavors"(e.g. strawberry) and certain things aren't(e.g. chocolate), so you can call things that are artificially flavored to taste strawberrylike "Strawberry Notrealfoodcandy" but you can't call a non-chocolate-containing candy "Chocolate Notrealfoodcandy."
But that could be an urban legend.

There used to be a Lenten legend (an urban legend in the Greek/Russian/Serbian Orthodox communities) that taco bell's beefy filling was in fact finely-ground boca crumbles, with spicy sauce... Everyone 'knew' a priest or a houri/matushka who had called yum and gotten confirmation on this. It was amazing the lengths people would go to justify ordering a fresco beefy burrito instead of bean on fasting days.

And don't even get me started on the 'non-dairy cheese' used on the nachos!
