Well, since he took away TV and radio, what's next? Comrade Hugo up there needs some kind of hobby.
ETA: a few years ago my friend took a teaching gig in Caracas, and we had to use facebook to communicate because neither yahoo or google mails would work, they were blocked somehow. she was working for the british consulate, so they may have had restrictions specifically about what they were allowed to access though. She left VZ about 4 years ago, maybe 5, and i guess things have changed. It sounded like a very, very unfortunate place to live.
