My old roommate just posted some pictures of Cooper as a puppy, and oh my goodness, I had forgotten until now that he was the cutest puppy in the whole world. His first trip to the dog beach:  He actually had an awesome time, running around and sliding in the sand. I think he was just discovering that water is cold and wasn't super happy about it. This was right after his tummy surgery, when he was about eight weeks. Glassy eyed from the painkillers and totally adorable:  If you adopted your animal friend as an adult, please feel free to post pictures of any baby animal.

Baby Molly!  Moll is the one with her eyes closed on the left. She is smooshed between her sisters (her siblings are all girls) and surrounded by Quaker parakeets. She was the last of her clutch to hatch so she doesn't have as many feathers as the other birdies. She had to fight for her food and access to mom, which could explain why she is such a pushy little brat!

I don't know how I am just seeing this thread now. I also tend to prefer to adopt adults but in the days following the 9/11 attacks I made and exception for Bianca.  Here she is with Patrick  And here she is all grown up  If you haven't guessed I am a very proud fur mom :)
