This has been one of my favorite Netflix finds. Great film!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I saw Monty Python Holy Ale the other day. I wonder if it is vegan?

Seeing as it's the holidays I saw Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas) last night. It was really good! Kinda moving.

We saw The Tourist last night. If it had starred other than Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, I would've thought it was a complete piece of shiitake. Even with them, I thought it was pretty bad. The plot was just terrible, and the ending was ridiculous. OH, and the music was awful - they made the worst choices. Basically, it was advertised like some spy thriller, but it played almost like a rom-com.
(Mike wanted me to point out that he thought it was awesome.)

I'm watching Annie! I haven't watched it since I was a kid. creep wrote: Son of Seitan wrote: was Get Him To The Greek any good? It's cute/funny. I've already mentioned it in this thread, but I think everyone in the world needs to watch The Good, the Bad, the Weird.
....Seriously, people.

Just watched Oldboy last night. That movie is forked up.
ETA - I'd only ever seen Lady Vengeance of the vengeance trilogy, which I loved. I expected it to be weird and violent; I just didn't expect that ending.

have you guys ever watched a movie w/ the directors commentary on? I like to do that w/ movies that are hard to understand or seem to have alot of hidden meanings. Not the whole movie, but it's fun to do for awhile.

Not the whole movie, but it's fun to do for awhile. This Is Spinal Tap has the best commentary track with the band in character, as if they're watching it years later. It's almost like a sequel to the movie!
