Nice thread starting!

I found some mince pies in a mace that appear to be accidentally vegan - I haven't tried them yet, and they're probably very cheap and nasty, but I got excited when I saw them and had to buy them.

Which ones? I know the last time I checked, their plain chocolate digestives appeared to be vegan. Oh, they also have some pretty good dark chocolate, but I forget the name of it.

Ooh, yeah, those vanilla dreams or something like that. Mike and I almost ate the entire box in one day.

I've seen them in Sainsbury's, same place as the other refrigerated pastry doughs.

I got the croissants!!!! Sainsbugs had them.
Silly question, but does anyone know if once the tube has popped you can keep them? So that you could in theory have some one day and the others the next?

No, you must eat all of them - all of them - in one sitting otherwise you fail. Actually, I don't know. But I would think that once the tube is open it would be like any other dough that would gradually lose loft and start to sour as the yeast expired - but I would reckon good for a second day.

I do know that I once left a tin of Aldi croissant in the fridge at work and forgot about it and it popped on its own but I still forgot about it until it started to stink like disgusting beer slops. It was gross.

I keep yeasted bread dough in the fridge for up to a week quite often. Eventually the gluten will weaken, but one day probably won't do much harm.
