I drove from the suburbs to West Philly last night.
We had a few flurries in the suburbs. The further south I went, the sketchier the roads got. I guess it didn't help that I was taking random streets instead of main routes.

I hate snow so much that I even kinda hate people who like snow.

Driving home last night was hell on wheels! Seriously I came within inches of hitting a telephone pole. Hopefully the snow on Sunday will be so bad that I can have a snow day on Monday.

i saw way more crashes on the ride home than i was expecting. people were either barreling past me or were barely creeping along. anyways passing cars on the open road makes you feel like a badass ;)

I hate snow. I didn't used to, but I have snow-related PTSD after last year. Now I am firmly in the "fork snow" camp. Flurries are pretty, anything else needs to stay the hell away.

Last year was brutal.

My office closes any day Philadelphia Public Schools close (for some odd reason) so I am majorly crossing my fingers for a snow day!

I'm Amtrak-ing back to Philly Tuesday night from DC. I hope I don't get stuck for 10 hours in the cold and dark. But once I'm back I really hope there's a tonne of snow. I love Center City in the snow!

I hope everyone makes it to where they need to be! I'm in New England where we should get a boatload tomorrow...but hopefully I will get back fine on Wed.

I hate the snow. Yes, it's pretty and at first it looks and smells all clean and fresh. But then I have to shovel my front walkway, shovel the back and, if my car can make it out of the alley, drive 20 miles to work at 10 miles an hour. Also my husband and I then drive to his parents house and shovel them out. Either way it means a lot of manual labor which I don't like. I also hate the cold.

Is that a definite or a fear? The snow here is horrible, but its supposed to clear up by Friday and Heathrow is back to normal, I thought.
