I don't know. How did FootFace have it organized? Vegan restaurants and not-vegan-but-vegan-friendly restaurants? More or less? As long as someone can be in charge of editing the main post to add new stuff, I don't care how that post is organized. Neighborhood might work.

I think neighborhood would be handy, especially for visitors. And then vegan/vegetarian/veg-friendly designations within each neighborhood, maybe?

SF seems to be the land of delicious vegan sandwiches, but seriously nothing has yet topped the GLC Picard. I dream about that shiitake.

Looks good!
Things I notice are missing: Full Tilt in the U District, Jhanjay in Ballard, Mighty-O.
(Edit: I have serious reading comprehension issues today.)

Oh, I miss Seattle. The Bang Bang Cafe in Belltown is vegan friendly and has awesome vegan mac and cheese!

This is awesome. I'm coming to Seattle in June, so I'll make sure to check up on some of these places. Is this up to up to date 8seeing as it was created in October last year)? Can you recommend any other vegan Seattle eats guides?

Looks pretty up to date.
Except... what about Jhanjay in Ballard!

How about El Chupacabra in Phinney Ridge? They have vegan meat and cheese options for most of their stuff and they are delicious!

Haven't been to the buffet in a long time. (Is it still there?) I always liked it. Lots of good, hearty, gloppy stuff.

Help! I need a vegan-friendly Indian restaurant. Preferably not exclusively veg, though, since my date is omni. Though he's open to going to Jhanjay if we opt for Thai. I'm just not sure what's out there for Indian and we've left it up in the air at this point. Anyone got any ideas?

The last time I went there, they were very helpful in pointing out which things were vegan. The mushroom masala is to die for. Seriously.

Thanks, both of you! West Seattle is a bit out of the way for both of us, so I will suggest Taste of India. SweetT, do you know if the naan is vegan? It's a second date and I'd prefer to make ordering as "invisible" as possible for now. (He knows I'm vegan but I don't want it to look difficult, y'know?)

A couple of places that have a lot of specifically vegan items on their menu, but also omni food: Jewel of India (U District) http://www.jewelofindiacuisine.com/Annapurna Cafe (Capitol Hill) http://annapurnacafe.com/I haven't been to either of them yet, but I've been meaning to. They both have pretty good ratings on Yelp.

A few things to add that I discovered recently: Tidbit Bistro in Capitol Hill has a whole vegan section on their menu Homegrown in Fremont has two vegan menu items Romio's in Magnolia does vegan pizza (justlike the Greenwood one) Julianos in Ballard/Crown Hill does vegan pizza & calzones Razzi's Pizzeria in Greenwood has a ton of vegan stuff The 5-Point Cafe in Belltown has a couple of vegan breakfast options (the No Huevos Rancheros are OMFG good)
