There is no meal better to me than a tomato sandwich on toasted wholegrain bread. Avocado fancies it up, but the fresh tomatoes are what makes the sandwich. Jealous!

The husband came home last night and they were slammed at work [a restaurant]. He, not surprisingly, said he didn't feel like cooking. I offered to, but when he saw the pictures of my lunch, he wanted sandwiches. So it turned out to be a total sandwich day. It got churched up a bit with avocados, making it fancy and ever-so tasty. Sorry for the yellow-ness of the photo. The light in the kitchen lends terrible shades of yellow to any photo taken at night.  AvoTomato by organarchy, on Flickr

Tomato sandwiches are the best! I wish I could keep bread without it going bad (bread freaks me out, I don't know why) because this is the one thing it's good for besides almondbutter and banana sandwiches.
Though chocolate and tomatoes? Woah. Mind. Blown.
