Which are better for general day to day faffing about/driving/shopping etc? What are the things to look for when buying either?
Tell me PPK, before I fall & break my arse!

Are you dealing with ice or snow or both? I love Yaktrax and I can drive with them on. I have snowboots for snow but if it is icy (which is usually the case here), then yaktrax are my friend. Walking in them on a non snowy/icy surface isn't comfortable though.

Probably both, I have good thermal boots that I could attach something to. I hear Yaktrex were one of the best.
Only problem now is there's a massive backlog with the post and there's no mission of me getting into town to look for them in the shops, not until the snow clears a bit, psh.
