Post your blog, share your plans, give each other suggestions, or help people out with ideas and themes! I planned mine out on my calendar last night and it looks pretty doable! I made a list of goals for November and made sure to plan to attend events and meetups, and do some volunteering. So, I put everything into 4 categories that I'll blog about weekly: event, writing (with prompts), cookbook or craft, and product review. And then I filled the remaining spaces with vlogs and more baking/cooking from a book. Every weekend happened to be booked with vegan events: Milwaukee vegan meetup group, Milwaukee vegan bake sale, my NYC trip and book signing with Melisser, Thanksgiving break, and my book signing at a bookstore in Milwaukee. Then for the writing and vlogs, I made specific prompts. Product reviews are self explanatory (maybe it'll go beyond product reviews, and I'll review dishes and baked goods from local places too). And then cookbook or craft will be cooking or baking from a different cookbook and posting about it, and craft will be vegan-themed projects (already got those planned! one is kind of a secret!)! Then a giveaway or two in there...maybe some kind of contest, not sure what yet! I'll be blogging from Seitan Beats Your Meat.

I've definitely done a little more planning this year, including giving myself a list of writing prompts in case I'm feeling like I don't know what to write about. A calendar is a good idea. I've also been stockpiling food porn shots from the last month. My loose theme is moving to another country as a vegan and adapting to being vegan in a new place, but for the most part it will be food porn, some recipes, short essays on my experiences as a vegan, and I'll probably do roundups of my favorite mofo posts that week. I'll be blogging from http://netherendingstory.tumblr.com

I don't know!!!! I think I'll do a book review or two, ferment some things - like make kimchi and sauerkraut and possibly hard cider, make bread and talk about how awesome bread is. I'm mostly confused.

You planned out your calendar already? I am impressed!
This year I'm going to kinda half-asparagus it. (Well, okay, that's what I do every year.) My plan is to post a picture every day of the Emperor and I eating something together. Or maybe just a picture of him eating something. I dunno, people always ask what vegan babies/kids eat so, there you go.
But I need to find the charger for my camera battery STAT or this isn't gonna work.

Woo, I'm excited! I'll be doing some fancy foods, some easy comfort foods, some restaurant reviews and some special posts on fancy vegan entertaining and espresso drinks. And more! It's gonna be bomb. I also gave my blog a fancy new look. Yay! http://housevegan.blogspot.com/

I should probably take your lead Kelly! If I don't plan, it probably won't be a good Mofo. I liked my theme last year of veganizing favorite recipes that people sent me. I don't think I will have time for that this year. Maybe I will feature a local vegan friendly place each week and post one of thier dishes every day. Then I can be lazy and not cook...wait, that won't work because I love to cook. Maybe I will feature the many ways to use the many different types of chile peppers or regional ingredients. Oh blast! I still have no idea. I must nail this down stat. OH my blog? Vegan Conversion Challenge. Come visit.

The past two years I was really rigid. I did a theme a week. This year, I'm being a little bit less structured with it because there are so many things I want to do. I'm going to finalize the list for my first week today. Things I'll be doing: vlogs using cookbooks that sit on the shelf bargain grocery shopping kitchen organization Themes: bowls-one dish meals of deliciousness dinner and a movie playing with food-veganizing omni monstrosities and doing crazy things with food holidays firsts-cooking with certain ingredients for the first time I'm super excited this year. I'm hoping to push myself extra hard and have a lot of fun. Blog: http://mobettavegan.blogspot.com

I haven't gotten a list of things I'm going to try yet, but the basic theme will be gluten-free/soy-free/vegan(of course) foods that are WW points friendly or at least a good use of the weekly splurge points. Because convenience foods are hard to come by for gf/soy-freeers, I'll probably do a post or two on quick meals/convenience products.

I'm stealing ideas. I especially like the firsts (I've never had romanesco and I'm getting some from my CSA next week) and veganizing omni monstrosities. I will also attempt homemade sweet potato tots at some point.

I was just gonna wing it since this is my first MoFo, but we're leaving Chicago on Nov 6th on a road trip to Montana, where we'll be staying for a month. So...I think I'll do sort of a "vegan on the road" theme along with a "Vegan in Billings, Montana" theme. I know there is a group in Billings that does monthly vegan potlucks, so I'll make sure to attend that as well! I'll be blogging at VeganBunzOfCinnamon

I'm doing a tour of my cookbook library, the ones I haev and know I am getting, with links to authors blogs / websites as well as a brief review / favourite recipes type thing. I have the blogs all very roughly drafted, and the book cover photos saved to my drive so all I have to do is upload, link and final polish, in theory!

i will be doing some recipes, some food porn, some product reviews (special focus on salsas!), some holiday planning. i plan to write multiple posts at one time and save drafts, and then make the drafts public on days when i don't have the time to actually write a post. that is much easier for me than trying to carve out a half hour a day to write a blog entry. http://joannavaught.com

I'm MoFoing for my second year at Thistle and Yellow Rose. I don't have a theme or anything. I have a few events that I'll blog about - I'm going to a retirement party and don't know if I'll be able to eat or drink anything; I'm baking for a stall at a coffee morning; my best friend is coming up for 3 days near the end of the month and we're gonna sit around and eat; and I have to find food in Dundee (which, according to Happy Cow, has nothing vegan-friendly). I'm still trying to convince people to go vegan for a week for charity and do a guest post. I've only had 2 friends say they'll do it (maybe), so it might not be that great. I might also talk about going sugar free (or at least attempting it) in October. Other than that, I'm just gonna wing it.

Since I tend to get really busy and forget to blog I've been writing up my VeganMofo blogs ahead of time so all I have to do every morning is just get up and post them. I'll be ramping up the stuff that I usually do, more cookbook reviews, tons more recipes, food reviews, and lots of food porn.

I'm planning out more than I did last year because last year I totally winged it and ended up practically failing halfway through. I have a few weekly themes: Lunch Box - self explanatory. Pizza - I'll make a batch of VWAV pizza dough, split it in 4, and freeze it... then each week make a different kind of pizza. Last year I had a post of general vegan-friendly places to eat in the LV, maybe this year I'll review a different place in Kutztown each week. I also have some events - veggie wing night at a place on main street, Kelly and Melisser's book signing in NYC... I'll have a cake decorating contest... and then I have a list of recipes to make to fill out the rest. I'm going to try to get some more PA Dutch recipes veganized as well. And hopefully I can add at least one other thing to Dumbledore's Vegan Army... THE 7TH MOVIE COMES OUT IN NOVEMBER!! Blogging @ Loony Louzilla Lovegood Letters.

I was planning on going the super busy college student trying to be healthy route, but it would probably be incredibly boring to see the same three meals every day.
So....cookbook challenge? It really helped me last year, and I broke in some recipes that are current staples.
