Condolences. So tragic.
An example of the virtual love for Bonnie: VCTOTW is a very popular book in our house. My little cousin Emma (now age 4) always flips to the back of the book first when cookie browsing, so she can look at Bonnie's picture.

Thanks, everyone. I don't know what else to say about it, obviously there's a big hole in our lives and it's going to take a long time to close. Chester is starting to get bummed out too and I don't know what I can do for him.
Morbid humor time: Last night when I was posting all of this, Chester was at our feet farting up a storm and Brian commented that he was the fartingest dog ever. So I asked him if he was going to start saying, "The wrong dog died!" That seems awful unless you've seen Walk Hard (the Dewey Cox movie).
I'm going to try and get back to normal so i'm going to go check out the 'who wants to bang h-dog' thread now.

This is heartbreaking, I can't imagine how much you guys must be hurting right now. I am glad Bonny got to spend the time she had with such wonderful pet parents.

I'm so sorry, MBM and Brian. 3 1/2 years is way too short, but I'm sure they were the best 3 1/2 years a doggie could ever ask for.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your post was a beautiful tribute to Bonny, who was obviously an incredibly cute and much loved dog. I remember your first posts when you got her, and it was pretty much impossible not to fall in love with her, even through the internet.

Bonnie has always been one of my favorite internet dogs. I am crying real tears up here, and I am feeling real anger, too. Thank you for posting those picture of her, I was glad to see her one more time. This is pretty much what you always worried would happen, and I can't believe it really did.
Also, I can't find you on FB, so I am assuming you are gone from there?

I'm so sad and sorry!!! I loved Bonny. I remember when you got her and how she had one bad eye. Now I'm sad. I feel like going around with an eye patch for a bit so I can see the world like Bonny did! <3

I am so sorry for your loss. She was gorgeous. That's a really sad way to lose a little lovey. My 1st dog was shaken to death in front of me when I was really young by a large dog that came running out of a yard unleashed - owners lagging far behind it. Absolutely sucked in all of the ways you mentioned.
Know you're not touchey feelly - but everyone needs a little extra emotional support once in awhile. I'm sending you hugs. Bonnie was lucky to have such sweet loving parents. My condolences to you and Brian.
