What is vegan? I am nervous about trusting their labeling of certain things with a P or a K when it doesn't say K-dairy. I just went on my lunch break to buy peanut chews in bulk for the Londoners and saw the shelf of different chips - pb chips, butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips. The label of chocolate chips said K-dairy, but the other 3 were blank. I remember xstartstodayx said a while back that the butterscotch were parve and thus vegan....Anyone know? I mean the white chocolate chips cannot be vegan, so why didn't they haven't something distinguishing from the butterscotch ones, unless the butterscotch aren't vegan?

You can ask to see their ingredient book, which lists out all the bulk ingredients. The butterscotch chips are definitely vegan, probably the semisweet too, but I don't remember. Just because something is parve doesn't necessarily mean vegan, but these are. They are one of the kosher brands that also make vegan white chocolate chips. There is also a bunch of vegan candy, my favorite being the strawberry licorice things that start with a K and the Coconut clarks.
