I kind of make cheater pot pie. I take potatoes, those small jarred onions, carrots and peas. Then I cook them in a roux of unsweetened soymilk, Earth Balance, a little flour, salt, thyme, rosemary, black pepper and sage. I then usually pop it in a pan, roll out some store-bought puff pastry, stick it on top and bake until the pastry is done.

It's so easy and so good. I'm not sure how you could adapt it to the cute little things though.

I will I will, I'm gonna buy little dishes for them! I wanna make toby a fancy 4 course meal for halloween but I'm not sure what of. Never made even 3 courses before! Thing is he HATES olives, like wont go near anything that's touched them, so the eyes will have to be something else.=]

CUTE! I love the pot pie in Vcon. It would be really good with some root veggies added to the mix. The eyes can be made from peppers in green or red. Or two little black beans.

i also suggest the vcon pot pie. it calls for seitan, but since it's just one of many filling ingredients it's easy to just omit or replace it. i usually just make it with whatever veg i have around the house at the time, and it's always awesome.
