Ok I confess. I ate the chocolate pb cupcake. The last one. It was my husband's. BUT in my defense it was in there for 3 days! I couldn't let it go bad could I? He doesn't even like sweets very much! Whew, I feel better getting that off my chest Anyone else need to confess? You know you do
This is just to say (apologies to William Carlos William)
I have eaten the cupcake that was in the icebox
and which you were probably saving for dessert
Forgive me it was delicious so sweet and so chocolate-ly

Whenever a recipe calls for lemon or lime juice, i always use juice from a bottle. I don't think i've juiced an actual lemon or lime in ten years.

I ate husband's leftover thai. But it was in the fridge for more than a day so it's fair game.

I don't usually use jarred garlic, but I used to use jarred ginger. But sometimes I'll use garlic powder if I can't be arsed.

I baked 18 banana muffins with the idea of bringing them to work tomorrow. I have already eaten 4.

Yep, if I need zest I will bother to juice a lemon or a lime, but otherwise, bring on the bottle. And in chickpea cutlets, I confess that I usually just use lemon pepper instead of zest. I don't use jarred garlic, but I'm sorely tempted to use jarred ginger. There's nothing I hate more than peeling and dealing with fresh ginger.

I use those frozen cubes of garlic from Trader Joe's. I quit buying fresh garlic since I discovered them a few years ago.
I use lemon juice from a huge Costco bottle. It keeps forever in the fridge! I only buy/juice fresh lemons when I also need them for zest.

I bought some chocolate syrup the other day solely because the ingredients list is hilarious but I wanted chocolate milk so I used it. It was gross. the ingredients were like: High fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, water, sugar, cocoa powder.
eww
