I'm too focused on what I am doing in the kitchen to listen to music!

What's on your nightstand?

i definitely like to listen to music, a book on dvd or the radio, but i am lazy. i usually don't have anything on.

nevermind.

I don't print anything, ever. When I did, I did print only on recycled paper.

What was the best meal you've ever had?

Best meal I ever had.... is hard to say, but recently, it was probably a delicious salad with tempeh, quinoa or millet (can't remember which), roasted pumpkin, toasted hazelnuts, kale, and some other salad-y bits. Oh, and semi-dried tomatoes.

Do you have a favourite book or author? If so, what is it/who are they?

I have favorite authors in different genres, My current favorite book is The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie, closely followed by The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky, but if I were in the Scifi Genre, i'd have to say that it was a tie between anything by Walter Tevis, or Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

Heather Ross...still is too!

Who would you want to be for a day?

Definitely music. The faster the music, the faster I chop.

What do you do when you can't fall asleep?

ETA: Oops. I'm too slow for this.

I usually read, clean, or bake, depending on if it is the super-wide-awake-can't-sleep issue, or the i'm-so-tired-but-my-mind-won't-stop variety.

If you were a fruit, what kind would you be?

Pineapple because it is delicious in savory things, sweet things, and all on its own.

What is your favorite board game?

Settlers of Catan! Or Risk.

Are you good at remembering people's names?

Only when I'm not supposed to. As a rule, I only remember things/people that are either horribly obscure or really not important to whatever it is that I'm doing at that precise moment.

What is your favourite kind of waffle?

Square Belgian accompanied by chicken fried seitan.

Would you rather have to wear goggles every day or a Cat in the Hat hat every day?

Goggles, becuse they'd be useful for swimming, welding, and carpentry.
A cat in the hat hat would just fall off/get in the way.

How many siblings do you have? Do you like them?

One. And yes, he's crazy awesome!

Thought, yes. Did it, no.

Have you ever skinny-dipped?

Yup! This summer I ran through the woods and then skinny dipped in my own semi-private beach every day the jellyfish weren't there. First time ever. It was fantastic.

nope, no ball for me.

my favorite toys were marbles, I was a crackshot, lol.

How long will an opened jar of veganaise last if refrigerated?

Does it ever go bad? Mine never get the chance.... There was an old thread on this (and literally that was the only source of this information that I could find on Google) where the consensus was that it lasts for a really long time.
