the stew bean curd is just a really firm pressed, seasoned tofu. It usually has the texture of more commercial smoked type tofus.
Yep, that's a great description of this stuff. It was okay. The "cutlets" were a better texture, and I didn't care much for the taste of the stewed curd. It tasted like wasabi pepper.
Hrmm... Are soy puffs enough of an excuse to walk across town? That's a rhetorical question.
