It's a bit late for New Year's Eve, but this is the response I got to an email I sent Korbel about their Organic Brut. It appears that not only is the organic vegan-friendly, but most of their other varieties are as well.
The Korbel Brut made from organic grapes is indeed vegan friendly. No
animal products have been used in its processing. Nor do we plan on
using them, unless we absolutely have to.
Apparently, you are already aware of the major animal based processing
aids used in the wine industry. Currently Korbel does not use any of
these products in the manufacture of any of our champagnes, with the
possible exception of gelatin or albumin in the Korbel Rouge red
In rare cases we might use gelatin or casein (milk) to stabilize a
problem lot of wine, but this has not happened in many years. Since the
Organic Brut is a vintage dated product, I can assure you that all of
the vintages made so far, including 2010, do not use animal products.
We are currently shipping the 2008 vintage, so you should be good for a
couple of years at least.

This might need checking again in a few years, but for now vegan-friendly bubbly, yay!
