Back in Jersey after a great day in Central Park at the Walk for Farm Animals. Not only did I somehow manage to raise $330, but I got to listen to Gene Bauer speak after walking with my fellow vegans and eating a yummy bagged lunch. To top it all off, I won a raffle prize!
The haul includes The Thrive Diet book, enough smoothie drink packs to last me forever, a 5-pack yoga class certificate (I am terrified!), dinner at Caravan of Dreams, and a Scent of Scandal Candle!
Was anyone else there? I am not a social person so I didn't really speak to anyone but the friend who came with me. I enjoyed people watching and seeing dogs and kids interact with the chicken and cow mascots, though.
