It feels like my uterus punched its way out of my body, took a nice long nap on some train tracks, then crawled back in. That is all. Owwwww.

Today I was chopping carrots and I felt this horrible cramping. Then I felt some strange wetness and went to the bathroom and realized I had started my period. I was going commando and at my boyfriend's, thus not having pads. Despite all that, I was so excited to get my period so I could stop being emotionally crazy.

Does anyone else seriously crave salty and sweet when they're on their period? The week of my period and the week I am ovulating, I desire nothing but salty snacks and candy. I have to force feed myself decent food.

And don't get me started on my usual "heat wave."

Dear period,
You have overstayed your welcome. Please leave. If you'd like to come visit again, please limit your stay to no more than 7 days. 10 days if you really must.
xoxo,
J

The last few cycles have made me really needy, like all I want to do is whine, snuggle, give kisses and lay around all day. It's completely against my nature. =O

My body is mocking me. My boobs are incredibly sore, but I shouldn't be starting for another 12 days or so. Normally I wouldn't care but I'm going to see my boyfriend in a few days. I haven't seen him in a month. Sexy time will be ruined if I start this week. Blahhhh.

I feel like the living dead. I have a Paraguard and have heavy periods. I'm usually kind of a health nut and with a healthy diet I don't notice any anemia or anything, but with the move and temporary loss of a stove for weeks, I ate terribly. Now I'm bleeding to death and have no iron in my blood and my just sit here for hours...

TMI and I don't care. I bled all over myself on my bike ride on the way to work yesterday, but didn't notice because...well, I don't really know why. I used to be a happy diva cup user, but when I moved down here I forgot it and haven't wanted to buy a new one since it started making my IUD cramps worse, but I hugely resent the cost/waste associated with tampons/pads. I walked around the neighborhood of my work forever trying to find a place that was open and sold tampons, eventually having to wait for a health food store to open at 9 so I could buy $7 pads! Then I was late for work and got the evil eye.

Today is all cramps.

Threatening to start and made me gain 1lb last week. My clothes were just starting to fit and now they don't because I'm all bloated.

I have no idea when my period is going to show up, because my clockwork uterus has been out of whack since I had my kid. The last time I had it was maybe a month and a half or two months ago.

But if I'm not PMSing right now, then I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. I am in total despair, mostly over the state of my house, which is something that usually bugs me but not something that usually drives me to tears. And my stomach hurts. And I don't like anything. I just want to crawl under a rock somewhere.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has this phenomenon-I'll have a regular period (you know, a week or so..1-2 heavier days), then my period will completely stop for 1-2 days, then I'll have some light-moderate spotting for a day or so. This has happened to me every cycle for about a year now. I just think it's strange how the bleeding will completely stop, but then come back after a couple days. I'm not concerned about it, just curious.

I always break out at the end of my period, when it's basically over. I always thought women break out during PMS. Am I a freak?

That used to happen to me! Before my gore-fest IUD periods took over.

I think this happened to me this month-just a couple. I usually break out during ovulation, and right before period.

I repeat, ow. Also, low on ibuprofen, unsympathetic neurologist (apparently she doesn't get her period) said I should take less ibuprofen (tell that to the male soldiers I keep getting as gynos). I'd really like a chocolate cupcake and some cheese fries.

I feeling crampy and lethargic. I'm trying to be conscientious of my eating lately - no sugar, nutrient dense foods, but my period only has me craving junk. I had a dream last night I bought and ate 6 doughnuts. Yeesh.
