I have put a space between the first bracket and url so you can all see how to link back to your posts. If I were to remove that space it would post like this

and all you have to do is click on Jalapenos and it will bring you to the thread on "what to do with Jalapenos!"

I keep coming into this thread and remain confused I see the hyperlinks that connects to post about the food. That makes sense to me, but the rest...I don't get it. Is there supposed to be a list at the beginning of the thread that continues to grow, linking to threads about the specific food?

It's for when you start a thread about what to do with a particular food. You would then come in here and link back to that thread so everyone can come in here and have a quick view of all the "what do do with ______" threads.

In this case let's say you started this thread

you would then come in here and post a link to it like this

AGREED! I made some a couple months ago myself and it was fabulous (I had always heard of green tomato pie but had never made it myself).... better than apple pie even :) I used a recipe from cooks.com as well but i think it was a slightly different version...can't remember which one though (of course!). :(

...it's a grain, it's served whole usually, cracked sometimes.
It's toothsome, being both chewy and tender at the same time if cooked just so. Similar to barley or brown rice, with a hint of nutty, sweet (as opposed to bitter, but not like candy), mild flavor.

Is there a way to put one moderator in charge of this so that whenever someone adds a thread it can be moved to the very first post in this thread? You know what I mean, like on the old boards? So, over time all the linked threads will be added to the list in the first post. Bc having pages and pages to search through to find a linked thread isn't going to be very effective.

I bought some Dandies vegan marshmallows and don't know what to use them for...any suggestions?

I've used these to recreate the traditional rice krispie treats I ate as a kid.

Also, they're good on top of a sweet potato casserole (I'm from the South, so it's a comfort food for me).

Needing new ideas for string beans

you can use green tomatoes in picalilly ( a pickled veg mix ), ratatouille (a kind of super-chunk veg tomato sauce), chutneys and relishes.
