I was wondering if there's enough interest to add a raw subforum. I can't find a decent raw forum to save my life - honestly. Of the two I like, one has barely any postings and they're okay with eating raw meat and dairy, and the other one only allows discussion about the author and her books and nothing else is allowed (imagine Isa and the mods deleting every thread about a book not written by Isa) and they don't understand the need for high quantities of food porn.

I would be active in a raw section, for sure. It's one of those things that I don't know too much about (but it's eating raw food, not sure how complicated it gets) but that I'm really interested in and want to make an eventual move to.

I am popping in from my PPKation to say i'm not here partly because i'm raw at the moment and am avoiding temptation- i'd be here more often if there were a raw section. of course, let's remember that any raw thread here usually turns into yelling and screaming and someone telling me how i've got an eating disorder if I'm raw, or that all my teeth are going to fall out, but i'm a big girl, i can take it.
Appifanie, i know what forum you're talking about (all hail the queen, hehe), i think i might have been banned there you could try giveittomeraw.com (they have some paleo tho) as well as rawfreedomcommunity (low traffic but nice recipes and a freebie book section on the forum). goneraw has forums but i haven't been there in yonks. rawfoodrehab is nice but has some parts restricted for paying members. it's too bad rawfu is gone, that was my favorite, hands down. (most folks from there went to rawfoodrehab). there's also 30bad, but it's only for 801010 and they're ^rude^.
Good to see you all again! See you again in a week or so when/if works cools down.

RFC does have lots of free recipes but they're the low traffic okay with raw meat place. I do like Carmi though - she's nice. I've never heard of rawfoodrehab or 30bad and I had no idea rawfu was gone!

Each year I toy with eating more raw. A subforum would be wonderful. I would love to have one here. Other forums are all raw or nothing (which is understandable), but right now I'm not interested in eating 100% raw. But I do want to explore more.
I also know the site you're talking about. I mentioned another writer's very helpful book and never saw my thread posted. Didn't know that wasn't allowed.

I would love to see a raw subforum. At some point, I would like to start to make that change over to raw and I would rather do it with the support of friends rather than strangers.

I'd definitely appreciate a raw section. My brother's wife catered their own wedding and it was raw vegan pie galore!

I have a couple of go-to raw desserts that generally involve dates, carob [or cacao] walnuts and the food processor. I find entrees to be more of a challenge.
^That does look lovely though!

i made the raw brownies that are jennifer cornbleets but i'm not sure i can do walnuts (i've recently discovered nuts may be a migraine and/or IBS trigger for me) so i made a 1/2 batch. then i saw guy make that pie so i soaked and blended cashews with coffee and agave and topped the brownies and froze the whole thing.

Is there a general raw thread in the Kitchen yet? If not, one of you should start one and get the conversation started! If it gets enough traffic to warrant an entire subforum of it's own, I'll make it!

I'd so be into a raw room here!
I miss RawFu too!
.. and don't even get me started on the person who needs a forum only to stroke her ego.
