I searched, but couldn't find an existing thread. Anyway, I just finished the pilot, and I liked it a lot! Chemistry's deadly! Ahhhhh! I watch this thing and say, "Oh shiitake! Oh shiitake!" over and over again. For me, that's the mark of awesome. :D
Vince Gilligan was one of my favorite writers on The X-Files (I also quite liked Home Fries), but I haven't watched any of his projects since I became completely embittered with the X-Files and anything associated with it. But I kept on hearing that this show was like, the best thing on television, so I decided to Netflix the DVDs. It looks like I could become a fan of this one! Woot woot!

Eeeek! Emilio and cuz aren't dead! Walter's toking up! They can't find plastic bins large enough for a whole body! "Hey, man! We flipped a coin! We flipped a coin!" Oh, and the look on Walt's face when his wife mentions their daughter being 16! And I knew Walt was gonna use pot as an excuse! I knew it! "Would you please climb out of my asparagus?" Ha! BFH wrote: You have three seasons of exponentially even more awesome storytelling awaiting you. So I've heard! I need to get more friends watching this show so I can talk about it.

I watched the entire series (I can't even remember how many seasons it is - it's all a blur) in the first half of December. So. So. Good.

Okay, the half-dissolved body falling from the tub in episode 2?
I think ... I think this is what love is.
ETA - OMG! The shoveling! And dumping the body juice in the toilet! And holy shot the coz is watching Emilio drip through the ceiling!
I love this. I'm going to have to find this steaming, because Neflix is gonna be too slow to get me new episodes. SO MUCH LOVE. AND GORE. AND LOVE.

I sorta love the DEA brother-in-law taking Walt, Jr. to see a hooker.
Also, Walt is making a pro/con list for killing someone!? I'm on the last episode of the disc and I'm going to be so, so sad when it's over and there aren't any more!

I was just about to look for a Breaking Bad thread! I just watched Season 3 episode 9. Four more to go, I think.. These actors are amazing. I like that it hasn't turned as nuts as Weeds did.

I gave in and streamed the fourth episode last night. I am starting to really like Jesse, and I didn't think that I would.

Just finished S1!
I love when Walt's a badass. Also, Tuco (sp?) is freaking crazy. I like 'em freaking crazy.

Is it weird that nods to Kim Manners make me happy?

I loved everything about Peekaboo.
I also really enjoyed Badger's arrest. I keep thinking Saul should be played by Richard Speight Jr., but no dice.

Breaking Bad is my favorite current show. Every single episode is amazing, and it just gets more and more intense! I don't know anyone who doesn't think it's great, though I do know someone who can't watch any more episodes because of anxiety. Seriously, higher stakes than any other series, and no defusing B-stories. I love the relationship between Walter and Jesse...it's like nothing else on TV. And they're both amazing actors. I just love this show so much.

Breaking Bad is awesome. I only saw up to maybe the first 4 episodes of Season 3 because we stopped getting AMC, but it's so good!

I saw a marathon right before last season started, and was glued to my tv every Sunday after that. I can't wait until the new season starts!

Talking about the blue meth at rehab was so bad and so awesome.
I'm now on the episode with the fly in the lab.

Resurrecting this thread because I just finished season 1 and holy shiitake this show is so amazing. That intervention scene? forking perfection. It reminds me a lot of Six Feet Under; so emotional charged and well-acted. I'm going to power through the next two seasons so I can be caught up in time to watch season 4 as it airs.

I am so excited for S4! This show is *fantastic.* I talk to the screen the entire time I'm watching, usually going, "Oh shiitake Oh shiitake Oh shiitake ... OH MY GOD."
