Oh No! Fezza, darling thats awful.
I spent a weekend in the mountains with no electricity or running water. Ran out of the water we brought with us. The outhouse was a scary mess, so I wound up using the woods as my bathroom. Woke up this morning with a sore throat and thick snot. But that does not compare.....

That sucks.
Today I went all the way across town to Waitrose for the third time in a week just to look for canned pumpkin & they were sold out. I found two perfect coats, one had 7% wool (Whyyyyy?) & the other they didn't have in my size AND I've lost my favourite hat!

That link you posted is awesome.
Yesterday night I got off work at 9pm, waited for the bus in the pouring rain for an hour (also I had a paper bag full of groceries) only to remember it was Sunday and that bus had stopped running. So then I had to take another bus route that meant taking three separate buses to get home, some of which required me to go in the complete opposite direction of home.
I was very much /emo when I got home. But it's just amusing now really.

Thanks guys! I've had a heat sticker on it all day so it's eased a bit.
The yoofs were hanging about my bins with bangers so I went out to the car to bring something in and check the bins, only to discover that I must have left my parking light on and my car battery is completely flat. So again. FML.

I've got two car battery chargers but I think I live to far away to be off any help :( I must have a lights on warning buzzer somewhere though.... perhaps I can come round some where next year to install that buzzer?

I must have a lights on warning buzzer somewhere though.... perhaps I can come round some where next year to install that buzzer? Aaahh thanks Eric xxx My breakdown insurance should cover it and I have a couple of nice neighbours I could call on for a jump start. It did make me realise that without the battery I can't get into the boot to get the jump leads unless I go through the back seat, so I'll be keeping them under the driver's seat from now on! There is an alarm but it doesn't sound when the parking light is left on. The lights are on a dial, right for sides & headlights and left for parking light, so when you're switching them off you just need to accidentally go one click to the left and you've left the parking light on. Because my tail lights are at an and I park under a street lamp you don't even notice they're on when you look. It's a poor design on an otherwise nice car.
