The stew is lovely! It seems to be a spicy mole chili - yum! I got some summer squash and kale in my first bite, there seems to be some kidney beans in here, too. Delish.

Hmm, I just wandered into the kitchen and found a pot of stew that I don't remember making. Which means, either I've been sleep cooking again, or someone snuck into the kitchen, made a pot of stew, and snuck back out. It smells good. Is anyone brave enough to taste the mystery stew, cause I'm kind of scared of it!

You were! You were sleep cooking! I stopped by the kitchen to see if you wanted me to whip up a batch of chocolate chip pumpkin muffins and you were in there throwing stuff in a pot with your zombie-face on. I was afraid to try to wake you while you were in that state, so I figured I'd just let you do your thing. If you're done I can come back and make those muffins now, though.

Well, I'm glad that mystery is cleared up. Thanks for tasting, Papriakapapaya, and I'm sorry if I scared you choirqueer. Sure, you can go ahead and make some muffins, they sound great, although I don't remember you working here. Did I sleep hire you?

Well no, technically I don't really work here. I just like to help out sometimes. You're welcome to pay me if you want to though. Or you could just pay me in kale chips.

I would like to start a campaign to make kale chips the new currency of the US. The only problem would be that everyone would keep eating their money! Ok, and they might not hold up too well in a wallet. cq, I'll be happy to pay you with kale chips, free meals at the cafe, or ppk dollars. And you are welcome to come in and help out whenever you like. Mmmm, this chocolate muffin and cup of coffee are making the perfect late breakfast right now.

It must be chocolate day. As soon as I finish this pudding, I will whip up some fondue for the party this evening.

I used to work here! The decor hasn't changed a bit. I'll just mix myself a drink.

Okay, we've got a piping hot cauldron of chocolate fondue here! Who's got something to dunk?

I have brand new dish towels: teacup, raincloud with rain, and bunny. May I wash and dry some dishes? This would be my pleasure. Just throw a bloody mary my way, if you don't mind.

Can I help celyn? (But only if I get the bunny dish towel!)

Choirqueer - I have nothing to dunk but my fingers - is that acceptable behaviour in this establishment?

Hey everyone, we are having a Halloween party today! I am dressed as a shiitake mushroom, because I am the shiitake. Choirqueer has an awesome costume, I can't wait for everyone to see it. There will be prizes for best costume, and many other prizes (scariest, prettiest, etc) so come in your best costume and party with us! I'll be serving up lots of Halloween and Autumn themed food and beverages all day.

I am dressed as a serial killer, a la Wednesday Addams.

I brought brain cupcakes, bug infested cupcakes and bleeding hearts -

Awesome costume 8ball! As usual, you are a genius with the cake decorating, but your cakes are so realistic looking, I'm afraid to eat them!

Would it make a difference if I told you they're filled with cherry sauce? Yummy!

Mmmmm, they are very yummy! Do I have blood dripping down my face now?

Ok, I need to get some Snacks and Appetizers put out.
We have:
Warm cranberry bean and acorn squash salsa with corn chips
Pumpkin pecan pate with crisp seeded flat bread cut out into cute ghost, bat, and witch hat shapes
Ghost pepper tapenade and crackers (very hot!)
Balsamic glazed sweet potato fries
Duo of black been and roasted orange pepper dips with raw veggie sticks
Blood red stew (beets, red cabbage, red onion, red beans, splash of red wine, and other goodies)
Caramel apple fondue: pot of warm caramel, wedges of honey crisp, granny smith, golden delicious, and gala apples from our orchard, and little bowls of crushed peanuts, pecans, and walnuts for dipping your caramel dipped apples.

If someone wants something stronger than the afore mentioned drinks, I'm also shaking up a batch of zombies (rum, pineapple juice, oj, lime juice, and apricot brandy).
