I want to want oatmeal every morning, because it's healthy and cheap and filling. Instead, I often have just coffee, or cold cereal, or some kind of bread product. And now that it's fall, I want pumpkin waffles.

wow, you guys have good breakfasts.
I am terrible at breakfast too, I usually eat a single piece of toast w/ pb and sometimes a banana. Plus my highly caffeinated tea (either Chai, or when I'm feeling particularly exhausted: Morning Thunder.)

I wish I woke up early enough to make a solid breakfast, but its unfathomable for me to be functioning enough to use a stove at 6 when I usually get up, let alone any earlier.

What I have: green smoothie (soaked almonds, kale, and banana). It's totally delicious, and exactly what I need in the morning, makes me feel good all day and all of those great things.
But... sometimes I just want something less wholesome. Or something else on top of the smoothie. Actually, lots of times, not just sometimes.
Generally I want: maybe a green smoothie still (but maybe not), really good homemade sourdough bread (toasted) with hashbrowns (I like my hashbrowns to be a combination of traditional straight potato ones, as well as sweet potato, zucchini and potato), fried oyster mushrooms, marinated grilled tempeh or tempeh bacon, maple syrup to drizzle on it, steamed kale, and a big mug of herbal tea (I like spearmint at the moment).
Unfortunately, I have neither the cash, nor the time, nor the gargantuan hunger, to have this as a breakfast more than maybe once a week/fortnight.

I have whatever is in the cupboard. Could be toast with nooch, leftover weekend pancakes, bagels if they were on sale, etc.
What I would love to have is anything someone else made for me. Something drenched in maple syrup, big mug of hot coffee, fresh fruit, and something savory to round out the meal, like seasoned hashbrowns, or a scramble, or something complicated looking from vegan brunch that I've been afraid to attempt.

I usually have cold cereal with almond milk, or oatmeal with cinnamon and ground flax. Waffles or french toast every morning would be my ideal :), but hard when you live in a dorm :(.

I had Nature's Path Flax Plus Raisin Bran this morning, with some extra ground flax on top.

Usually I have cold cereal or leftover dinner, but this morning I had a slice of apple pie :) What I wanted was to eat the entire pie...

Having: Oatmeal. Still good, but . . .
Want to Have: Breakfast burrito! With tofu scramble, pinto beans, potatoes, fresh salsa, and avocado. And a fruit smoothie. Man, that sounds good.

I'm having coffee and almonds and a honeycrisp apple, which is good, but I never don't want scrambled tofu with avocado slices and Sriracha and English breakfast tea. And heart-shaped waffles.

Usually I have an apple cinnamon or blueberry bagel with a little EB and a banana. I can't use the basement kitchen in the morning because the front desk isn't open that early!

This morning, I had wheat toast with avocado and nooch. Tomorrow I'm going to wake up early (5AM) and make pancakes before work (7AM).

I'm having oatmeal with almond milk, pecans, maple syrup and half of a chopped up Pink Lady apple. I ate the other half while the oatmeal was cooking. And coffee, glorious coffee! Vanilla nut with a little bit of raw sugar.

I desperately want to try herbed drop biscuits with smoked almond gravy from Vegan Brunch, but I'm too hungry in the AM to make something that involved. Sometimes just throwing oatmeal on the stove is too much work when I first wake up. Maybe one of these days I'll make breakfast for dinner.

I had a berry muffin which I'd baked the previous day. I was pretty happy with it, but I might have wanted a big-ass tofu scramble slightly more.
