Thrift stores usually have tons of awesome things. A few years ago I found a green (bright green!!!) London Fog trench coat for 14 dollars. It's water proof AND had a Starbucks gift card in the pocket for 17 dollars.

As far as other clothes, I'll be watching this forum for ideas.

i go to thriftstores all the time. i am really ok for coats. i need warm things that go underneath. so i guess they don't have to be waterproof, but just vegan and warm.

Hi Kittee!

Have you been to Twill? http://twillclothing.com/ I've found some cute synthetic sweaters there--and some of their stuff is locally made. I really like this shop.

I like REI for sweaters and warm winter wet wear:
they makes some warm long underwear that is animal free: http://www.rei.com/product/802289
and, while fleecey, this is cute: http://www.rei.com/product/802046
and this too! http://www.rei.com/product/801541
one more: http://www.rei.com/product/802366

Sweeeet! I treasure hunt at thrift stores all the time and I've found some great deals but I think that one might take the cake!
