Toss-up for the snow haters: 8 degrees with no precip, or 45 degrees with snowrainiceshit?

Ughhh I hope we get just snow so we get a snow day! Otherwise...I think I'd say 8 but no wet shiitake. Ughh

I vote for summer.

8 degrees and no snow. Although if it was 45 I feel like it would just be rain, in which case I'd take that.

and id agree, rather take Monday rather than whatever Wednesdays storm has for us. Cold rain/sleet = the pits.

I'd take last winter over last summer, personally. I'd rather be buried in snow than be drowned in sweat.

I will always take winter over summer. Any winter. Winter has its downsides, and yes I hate snow, but I hate summer more than pretty much anything in the world ever. It's hot and sticky and uncomfortable and oppressive. There are just no redeeming factors there.

Agreed. It's a wonder - and for so many reasons - why anyone lives below North Carolina. Frankly, Philly is south-enough for me.

Really, Philly gets so disgusting in the summer that I can't imagine ever living anywhere hotter. I could only ever go north.

I'm happy the snow comes after the rain. I hate rain then snow then icky shiitake all over the place. And the gym will be even more empty than usual!

News like that makes me so glad I work from home.

Me too. I'm also glad I live in the city because it's so cozy in the snow, and there's no need to freak out that I will run out of TP because stores are still open and accessible. I bet it's gorgeous in Lancaster in the snow!

Yeah, it's really pretty, though last year was a bit much after that second big storm.

Driving in my apt complex, the snow was piled so high and nearly perfectly perpendicular to the ground. It really looked like those scenes at the end of Star Wars when they were flying in those crevices of the Death Star.

Honest to God, I LOVE summer. I had a dream the other night that it was 92 degrees outside, and woke up quite disappointed that it wasn't real. I love hot weather. It doesn't bother me.

Dude!!! It's bad out! Guys is it not as bad on the ground as it looks from my 10th floor window?? Bc it looks really really bad from here, yet no word from the office!! Come on!!

They were calling for a mix and freezing rain this morning. I left the house at 6am and it was SNOWING HARD! But theres only supposed to be about an inch of snow throughout the day today. We are supposed to get the heavy sticking snow later today after 4pm I think. Unless the National Weather Advisory is just totally wrong and has no idea what they are talking about. And then all bets are off. Which I wouldn't doubt. I would say work today, home tomorrow.

I woke up this morning with the same headache I had last night and called work to tell them I wasn't coming in. It was only after I couldn't get a hold of anyone that I looked out the window. Good day to stay home!

I have a colleague/advisor from the northern-midwestern states who insists on taking every opportunity to point out how everyone except people from the northern-midwestern states are snow-wimps. Ugh.

That's the plan. It took me an hour and a half to get to work today. The commute was horrible. I straight-up told my boss that if we get more snow tonight, I am staying home tomorrow.

So now I kind of hope we get some more snow.
