I am! I think we're technically still open, but I called off and my boss didn't care. I went and dug my car out anyway, so I won't have to do it later, and sweet jesus there is a ridiculous amount of snow on the ground. It would be kind of awesome if it wasn't so inconvenient.

I'm looking forward to wandering around in the snow today. I was supposed to go to Blackbird for lunch. That might be too far.
Every day is a snow day for underemployed grad students.

Seemed to be a tiny bit of ice underneath, but it was pretty easy to clean my roommates car off. Still waiting to hear how the roads are.

Roommate said the roads aren't bad. Just a little slushy here and there.

Stupid Temple didn't cancel. My bus isn't running. I'm trying to decide whether to schlep myself to the Spur to take the subway to school, or just stay at home and be indignant.

Yeah it's pretty rad. It was there when I arrived, so I don't know who made it. I was disappointed at first, because from a distance it looked like a magical snow fort.

Snow lizzard is awesome! We took a snow walk around our neighborhood. The snow was up over my boots. And then I made a super yummy pizza with my new pizza stone. Snow days rock.

Yeah, my roommate commutes by train to Temple every day. She didn't go today, because the trains that were running were running absurdly late. And I called off work because they didn't even start plowing my apartment complex's parking lot until I had to leave. And then they didn't plow it very well, they left a three foot pile of snow right behind my car. I was watching a guy dig his out for an hour and a half! I love the snow iguana!
