We are taking our son to the Charm City indoor skate park in Baltimore tomorrow for his birthday. Do any of you locals have a restaurant recommendation? Much obliged!

Well, I don't get to go now, anyway, but my newly Veggie husband is going to try Johnny Rad's since it is only 6 minutes from the skate park...

I've never been there and it's not a restaurant (it's a bakery), so this may be the least helpful response ever, but the next time I'm in Baltimore I can't wait to try this place: http://www.emilysdesserts.com/

Funnily enough, I was just eating cupcakes and drinking wine yesterday and going on and on about how much they were meant for each other. When I clicked the link, right there before my eyes was the Wine and Cupcake Bar link. I thought I must have died and gone to heaven!

My son loved the skate park, so we will be going again. I love Fell's Point! I need to see how close it is to the park. Thanks for the recommendation!

I go to Baltimore every couple of months to visit my son at school, and am always looking for vegan meal options. This weekend we tried The Land of Kush ( www.landofkush.com). It was great! I had the barbecued ribs, mac and cheese, and collards. The platter was huge and only $10.99. Definitely will be going back there again and I highly recommend it. We also ate at the Rusty Scupper on the waterfront to accomodate other family members who wanted seafood. They have a vegan penne primavera which is not listed on the menu, and it was tasty (spicy marinara, green beans, red pepper, mushrooms). It was nice to go somewhere where everyone was happy with the meal. The Helmand has wonderful food and Red Emma's has decent sandwiches. Haven't been to Yabba Pot yet, but it's high up on my wish list. We went to One World Cafe for breakfast once, and enjoyed it. We stay in Mt. Vernon, so it was a little out of the way. If anyone has other suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Yabba pot is closed. I went to Liquid Earth recently, which I liked better than One World Cafe.
Depending on how things go, I'll be moving to Baltimore later this year.

Yeah, the yabba pot is closed and Emily isn't in business any more (I think she's just focusing on other things in her life or something.).

I'm disappointed to hear about Yabba Pot. It looks like they are opening or have opened the Grind House Juice Bar, also on St. Paul. Has anyone been there?

Hopefully they'll sell more than juice.
