What I'm worried about is stuff like the recent amplification of the Broyles family story and the "re-introduction" of Observers, and all the subplots that haven't or haven't *yet* been re-introduced. Is Walter's book still a part of the plot? What about the army? And so on. With the move to Friday night I am on one hand worried about the desperation of the writers unraveling the future of the show; but on the other hand, I hope the move lowers the pressure so they can stay focused on writing a compelling narrative.

I'm just worried there might not be anymore redhead-liv.

I really think the Broyles stuff was completely plot appropriate (especially with Alt-Broyles, it was clearly what motivated him to help Olivia escape), and I cannot see it being expanded on needlessly. I mean, I'm all about O, W, and P, but it's not ridiculous to give side characters SOME development.

The Observers are in the background of every episode. It makes sense that they would come up again. I kind of assume there's a good chance they are the "first people," and besides that they've always been important to the overall story of Fringe. I'd be more upset if they didn't come back, not that they ever really left. They are clearly important, but I don't think they've ever (with the exception of that one episode where the observer saved a girl) been pushed to into main character status.

I think you're talking about the book Bell wrote, and I think since discovering what "upcoming war" he was talking about and how he was preparing "the children" I'm not sure there's much more relevance. Though, I do think the whole mysterious group going around "activating" people could really use some further explanation. Actually, that's the biggest plot hole I've found in the show. Who the heck are these followers of Bell's book (minus the chapter on ethics), and what are they doing now that they've activated a bunch of people and things are clearly getting more serious betwixt the two worlds?



(I only started watching this show at the end of last season and spent the better part of November watching my way through Season 1 and 2. So, this crepe is REALLY fresh in my mind.)

Walter called her Fauxlivia! Awesome. That was a really good episode, of COURSE. I most loved when Walter was holding the whipped cream and told whatsherface at MD that he was thinking about her - mwahaha.

Oh and I'm totally doing this to my house some day.

Best show on TV right now. Last night was so amazing.

Right before Peter got zapped, the Observer said, "It must be hard, being a father." He could have been speaking about the decisions Walter had to make, but that wouldn't make much sense to say to Peter.

oh, oh. OK, I remember now. I hope they don't add a baby to the mix, unless it's some kind of evil world destroying baby. Or it gets sucked into an alternative universe almost right away, Angel style.

The whip cream scene is in my tops tv moments ever. right up there with hurley hot pocket.

Yeah, I thought at the end of the episode Walter basically says the machine "activated" Peter, too.


On a Fauxlivia pregnancy, if what the observer said is about Peter being a dad it just has no context, whereas the observer was in the middle of testing Walter's "fatherhood." I really think he was talking about Walter.

Yay!!! Can we all celebrate that I have caught up!!??? I did a super quick Fringe Marathon (from start to last episode) and in the past month i have put aside all responsibilities (sorry playground!) and done nothing but watch fringe in my free time.

Here are some thoughts- i was afraid pacey would get fauxlivia pregnant, but I bet a fetus wouldn't survive a jump.

I think the first people are the people from the other side. They started catastrophic events that made them have to jump to the other universe. They are more tech. advanced, right? I think the people hid the machine so folks couldn't gank up the world anymore. I am not convinced it is entirely walters fault the other side is falling apart. It might have something to do with the first people's crossing over. or maybe not.

so how about all the people in amber being in suspended animation? What about the people on the bus from the first season. Can they be reanimated?

Pacey needs to get back to normal real quick because I am sick and tired of not seeing any pacey whitter hugs and pacey whitter forehead kisses.

I love that they made a twin peaks reference in the violet sedan chair episode. (ps anyone else questing for the record? no luck here in austin!)

I lay awake at night thinking about fringe theories and about how I am in love with pacey and walter. I have been in love with pacey for almost 20 years though. Quack.
