Vegan Vodka Saucccceee!

I've been wanting to make vegan vodka sauce forever. My best friend lives in California, and I live in Philadelphia. Every Monday we make the same meal, with a twist, and watch Gossip Girl "together." We decided on bowtie pasta, crostini, and martinis this week.

I made this:

It's a Sundried Tomato, Olive, and Basil Bowtie Pasta with Vodka Sauce, Mango Avocado Crostini, and a Vanilla Martini with Lime (in a whiskey glass because I'm the definition of class).

Chelsea made this:

It's a Bowtie Pasta Salad with Fresh Veggies tossed in Balsamic Vinegar, Kalamata Crostini, and a Lemon Raspberry Martini.

What a great idea! It sounds like the type of thing I would think about, then be too lazy to do. I'm glad you both have the initiative! The result is good food porn.

I used to have old movie nights with a friend in California (I'm in Virginia) . Doing it with food, what a good idea.

:) thanks so much! We have a blast doing it, and it's her way of making sure I don't miss Gossip Girl (I missed the first three episodes and she near had a heart attack). She knows I can't turn down good food, haha. And I have to say, I'm totally into the show now.. my poor boyfriend!
