How hard do you find it to say the alphabet forward?

I got pulled over one time, and was asked to go through a series of soberity tests...one of them having to say the alphabet backwards. I laughed in his face & said sober or not, that there is no way I can do that without stumbling. I asked him to do it - which he didn't. He's like "fine" & had me do something else.

dumb dumb test. I can't even start in the middle of it & go forward unless I sing the song from the beginning in my head.

ps- I didn't get a ticket and was let go

I learned a backwards alphabet song when I was little. It has the same tune as the regular alphabet song (which is also the same tune as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!) So I can do the backwards alphabet almost as easily as forwards.

Same. In middle school my friend and I spent a week of science class teaching ourselves the backwards alphabet, and even went so far as to add "me with sing you won't time next, abc's our know we now" at the end.

We found science boring.

Ooh I wish I learned that! It would make me feel awesome if I could recite the alphabet backwards!

Like WhiskersGal, I can't do it and good for you for telling the police officer that- that's ridiculous!

I want to learn the backwards alphabet song! It's nearly impossible for me to recite it backwards.

I can do it pretty easily. I used to practice just for fun.

I used to be able to do it, but that's because I used to practice it in my head. Apparently at age 8 I was worried about having to pass a sobriety test.

Moderately hard, I have to think a lot.

Super easy. I liked to play librarian as a kid.

This was exactly me! I remember seeing something on TV where a cop asked someone to do it, and pre-adolescent vegetalion thought "This is an essential life skill!" and practiced it, too.

Not hard, but I have to think about it. My friend Amy had a backwards alphabet song in junior high, but I guess I wasn't sufficiently impressed to learn it.

I'd say pretty hard, because I have to think about it a bit.

I'm dyslexic, I absolutly can't do it at all :)

I could do it when I was younger and had it memorized backwards.

I have never successfully done it without giving up because it's too hard.

Um, there is no impossible choice!!! I feel cheated.

As teens we used to memorize it backwards because we would get drunk in the park and that was always the first things cops would ask us.

I don't remember it now, tried to memorize it again a few years ago... didn't work. I think we get dumber as we get older... or maybe I just destroyed too many brain cells.

i can do it with a bit of concentration. i'm actually pretty surprised every time i do. it seems like it should be harder.
