OK, I'm really seriously considering putting in an application to adopt Junior. He's so handsome! And he sounds like he'd make a good match for Amos. BUT, I've never had two dogs. Does the amount of work involved in having multiple dogs increase arithmetically or exponentially, I wonder? Or are two dogs not a lot harder than one?

Oh my gosh, you most definitely need two dogs! Double the love and really not much more work. Also, then they won't get so lonely when there are no humans around! Sometimes when we come home we will find our pups sharing one pillow! It is definitely cute and nice for them I think.

I did put in an adoption application, btw. They said it usually takes up to 10 business days for them to respond and we're now on day 7. I have been going back to Petfinder at least twice a day to make sure that Junior is still posted (so far, so good!) I at least want the two dogs to meet, and if Junior's not the one for us, I will look further because I'm getting mostly positive feedback about having two.

I can't even believe this dog is real.

Head tilt alert!
Image

I desperately want to take this sweet little dumpling home and shower him in every toy he could possibly ever imagine. My boyfriend said that he had to fight the urge to call and ask to adopt him, as we agreed that we want to wait a couple of years before adding to the pack, so I'm just gonna keep sending him photos of Cooper until he relents!

"Cooper has spent much of his young life alone in a crate without a lot of stimulation." Seriously makes me want to die. That face! Tiny little baby!

H-Dog, are you really going to get a dog? Because I think you'd be a fantastic owner.

Aw, I'm sorry Junior is gone, monkeytoes. Maybe another pup will come your way.

Clover sounds like my Star (not the puppy mill part, but the patience/socialization ohmygodwillthisevergetbetter?! awww now she's a good girl). I hope that her new family sticks it out with her. It took YEARS. Thank goodness for my vet who helped me through the rough times!

My current life plan comprises the following steps, in this order:

1. Get a better job.
2. Move into a place that allows pets.
3. Adopt a dog.
4. Knit hilarious dog garments.

Sorry. I didn't mean anything by it except to describe that he has one eye - the ad made kind of a thing about how he's always winking.
Anyway, I like Bix's floopy paws and his smile and I hope he's been adopted by now.

Rowan, I want to SO MUCH, but Mike says no. :( I'm pretty sure a tiny (4 pounds!) little thing like her wouldn't mind that we have a small apartment, plus, I could take her to work with me, so I will keep working on Mike...
