Friday's episode felt like the death knell of the series. They're rushing through plot points, trying to move the story forward at a pace that makes the show look absurd. I think they know they're going to get cancelled, especially since their ratings have been so low recently.

I don't mind that they are rushing the story. I'd rather have that than it endlessly dragging on with no development. I just don't like that they've turned into into a sci-fi romance.

Rats, I've been meaning to watch this show from the beginning and catch up (haven't seen a single episode yet) but I will be so pissed if I get really into it and then it ends up being cancelled after a cliffhanger.

I hope Olivia gets pregnant and this turns into, "Which baby will he save?!"

Spoiler: show
I read in an article that Leonard Nimoy would be coming back and that pissed me off, because he blew himself to bits! But then I decided it would be ok if he came back for flashbacks. And now I'm afraid Walter has foreshadowed that he will speak to them from beyond (to be ready is a suspenseful, spooky voice) and that peas me off again.

The episode with the disgusting beetle actually made me feel a bit bad for Fauxlivia. I dunno. She fell in love and never meant to. I still hate her, though, but I feel like that episode humanized her more.

I was so over the moon happy when Peter and real Olivia got to making sweet, sweet love. And I just know I'm going to get super pissed when Fauxlivia shows up with her skanky asparagus baby. It's bad enough they did the evil twin switcharoo. Adding an unplanned pregnancy to the mix is just ridiculous and hacky.

Fauxlivia pants are a shame. A crying shame.

I loved the kissing and declarations of feelings! I can't wait for next week. I always love the flashback episodes.

Swoon. Ps I wonder if olivia is every gonna tell them the amber people are alive inside.

omg. i love love love flash back episodes. I love the opening credits and how they say things like, "in-vitro fertilization". :)

How could walternate be so mean and horrible to our olivia when she is the one who showed him about alternate universes?!! so freaking cool.

This is an interesting review: http://io9.com/#!5770955/walter-bishops ... of-horrors

I don't know if I buy the conveniently repressed memories stuff. Hopefully they'll address that more.

I don't think the person who wrote that review has paid much attention to the show or maybe they missed the first season and a half. Walter has totally acknowledged that he tested on Olivia. I don't know if he remembered right away, but I think 17 years in a mental institution and having parts of your brain cut out is a fair enough excuse for that. They even go back to Jacksonville and try to scare the crepe out of Olivia in season 1 so that she can see the weird glow of stuff from the other side. And, every time one of the other cortexiphen kids was "activated" as an adult they implied the memories of the trials were suppressed by Bell and Walter. Really, Peter seems like the only one who is truly, simply just repressing a bunch of messed up memories of when he knew he was kidnapped. Or am I just being too nitpicky about someone being nitpicky?

I felt like the person who wrote the article hasn't really been watching the show either.

I also think it is unfair to blame the universe unraveling all on walter. It has been widely stated that both universes can not continue to exist as they are, and that the unraveling was already happening. walter just might have expedited things. I know walter did some totally horrible, inexcusable things, but i don't think stealing peter was one of them. He only wanted to save his life. he never intended to keep him.

i love walter.

i didn't like the episode.

whenever a television show decides to have a gun go off in the final act and then cheats by flashing back to act one and putting a gun on a table... it's just weak and lazy. as soon as i saw little peter stare at little olivia, i said: "OH COME ON!" outloud.

having said that: i just don't swallow that peter "accepted" his new mother and "forgot" about the other world. no! nope! he's not FOUR, he's like, what, 10? 11? and a GENIUS. i don't buy it.

i am choosing to ignore that episode and will not be allowing its events into my own character and story arcs for the show in my head. so. there.

i love walter soooo much, but... i think we both love the walter who's had parts of his brain removed, let's be honest. the: "let's make milkshakes, astral!" walter. the one thing this episode did well as far as i'm concerned was show that walter did have the potential to be the cruel man who walternate became. he had that in him. and obviously that side of himself repulsed him and he tried to do away with it. and what's left is the walter we love.

i mean, right?

oh my god i love walter so much.

Obviously I love strawberry milkshake walter best.

But I do love pre crazy walter too. He makes bad decisions but with the best intentions.

Holy shiitake! Talk about heartbreaking. I really liked this episode, but I am kinda wondering how much allegiance Peter has to this side now. I fear this ending with a ginormous double cross...and that would seriously peas me off. But I did love this episode for fully exploring how complex these relationships are and how no character really stands on the side of good or evil. Walking the line makes for much better tv in my opinion.

And those kids were pretty great actors!

the intro to the 70s episode may be my favorite thing ever. it was so great! but im very worried about our show getting canceled this season. and when
Spoiler: show
olivia became bell
it was super creepy and sort of annoyed me that
Spoiler: show
it was olivia. again. use someone or something new! she cant be your crossover vessel, your star agent, and your soul magnet. one body can only hold so much.
