One of the local Whole Foods tweeted that they're now carrying almond milk yogurt (exclusive to them) so I stopped by to pick some up. They have it in peach, strawberry, blueberry, and cherry. I tried the peach on the train home and I like it. The texture is good and it's lightly sweet with a little tang and the fruit pieces are pronounced. It costs $1.49 if you want to give it a try.

I never ate yogurt as a nonvegan but that sounds really good. I think I'd eat crack if it was made out of almond milk.

I am really excited to hear this. I do not like the soy yogurts very much and the coconut ones kind of hurt my stomach - too much fat, maybe? I will definitely be on the lookout for this next time I am at WF.

I'm excited that someone has made a non-dairy yogurt with fruit pieces. I always liked the "chunky" yogurt better than the smooth blended yogurt. I shall look for this at Whole Foods this weekend.

I actually just tried this today and it's really good. I got the cherry flavor, it's really thick and creamy and not too sweet which is my main complaint with most soy and coconut milk yogurts I've had. This actually reminds me a bit more of the taste and texture of the Alpro and Provamel yogurt you can get in Europe, except it's not quite as tangy. Good stuff but it's pricey at $1.49.

Can't wait to try this. I used to eat yogurt in my pre-gan days, but never really liked the taste of any of the soy/coconut ones.

Does this come in larger containers or only the single-serving size?

I would leave work to get some now if they had plain! I very rarely buy flavored yogurts because of the sugar, but I might try the cherry as a treat.

Awesome! I've been waiting for someone to start making a almond milk yogurt. I just wish the Whole Foods near me had it, but I doubt they will for a very long time.

I'd so get the plain one! I had a coconut yogurt that was plain hoping it was unsweetened for a dip, but it wasn't so my dip turned out sweeter then I wanted.

Wildwood brand unsweetened isn't sweet and works really well in recipes, I find it a bit thin to eat straight up though.

Not many places carry it. I can get wildwood probiotic stuff, tofu, and creamer, but no yogurt.

Edit. Also, listen to me whine about only being able to get 90% of their awesome products. I'm so spoiled.

Ooh, I need to try this, especially if it's thicker and less sweet than the other kinds. I only wish that the non-soy yogurts (I eat so much soy as it is, I like to branch out) somehow had more protein. Though I don't know what this has, I'm just assuming.

I think it had 3g of protein per serving, so yeah, a bit lower than soy yogurt.

Molly, the Sprouts in Round Rock carries the plain Wildwood yogurt. (Not sure if the one in Great Hills has it).

This yogurt is delicious. It's also SUGAR-FREE! it's lightly sweetened with fruit juice so it makes it soy-free, dairy free, sugar free, gluten-free. I am eating the cherry as I type. I really hope they come out with a plain, vanilla, chocolate and coffee/cappuccino instead od just fruity ones. it's my new favorite yogurt! i love the thick, creamy but light texture and the fact that it's not too sweet or tangy and it has little chunks of fruit in it. It's also not weird and chunky with weird separating issues.

I think soy yogurt is good but many have sugar or are too sweet. I also try to not have too much soy. I'm not too crazy about the wildwood one, though I think the Silk soy or the Whole Soy yogurts are pretty good. I thought the Rice yogurt (Ricera) was a little weird because of the texture, though I tried some good rice yogurt in Italy that i will probably never find again.
