yeah, manhattan is a shiitake hole, why would anybody ever want to come here ever?! Since I live in Brooklyn, obviously I'm insanely hip, super special, and refuse to ever go to any other borough because I'm an elitist douche. I definitely don't know how to have fun--I only judge people and walk about. Jesus forking christ.

ANYWAY....
The ferry leaves from the Battery Park area, so if you decide to go ogle the Statue of Liberty, you can totally do that on the same day. I've never taken the ferry at night, but I assume it would still be nice.

My deepest apologies. you didn't so much imply it as you did just come out and say it. the whole [this borough] vs. [that borough] debate is really tired. i think the weather will dictate, to some degree, what you might want to do. but NYC is filled with awesome parks. whatever else you do - in whichever borough you do it - there's likely a sweet park nearby where you can relax with a recently-grabbed snack. unless it's witch's tit cold outside... i love my neighborhood park, inwood hill, which is in manhattan (so i guess it's lame?) but also practically in the bronx (which i think negates some of its lameness, but adds in a significant travel commitment).

That. calcuhater wrote: unless it's witch's tit cold outside... This. Yesterday... what the hell? I retired my giant puffy parka and grabbed my less unfashionable jacket for the rest of the coldness. fork me. I miss drinking illegally in the parks. I'd like to do that now, please. Thanks, weather.

I design with such nonchalance that could make Alexander Wang tremble.
