I'd be happy to meet for dinner to talk about possible locations/places to donate to. I think it would be a good idea to know who we'll donate to before we contact places that could host us.

Ok everyone, b.vicious and I talked and think that Thursday or Friday would work best. Do either of those work for you guys?
Also, we both work downtown so we were thinking My Thai but are definitely open to suggestions to anywhere located on the subway line.
Let us know what you think!

I am scheduled for a girl's night on Friday. I'd love to do Thursday, though, and I've never been to My Thai but hear wonderful things and want to try it!

Thursday or Friday works for me: Is My Thai the restaurant where Buddha's used to be?
ETA: I looked it up, and it is! Yea! I haven't actually been there since becoming vegan--random!

I would love to join in on the yummy food Thursday (and the picking a charity, although I'm pretty ok with anything). I'm getting my IUD removed that afternoon, so if I feel okay after that I'll be there! Wonton soup would probably go a long way toward making me feel better.

Six works for me! I'm so nervous about meeting you all in real life! I know I shouldn't be, but I get so shy. I know it'll be worth the initial anxiety though!!

Actually, I hadn't considered whether they take reservations or not. According to their Yelp page, they don't. Instead, maybe you could call when you get out of work tomorrow to let them know a large group is coming? (I know of other restaurants that don't officially permit reservations but will hold a table for a short period of time if you call in advance.)
Randy won't be coming, but don't let me forget to order something for him to take home, haha.

Neither bap or her partner will be attending. Let's make an effort to record as much info as possible for those who are interested but unable to attend!

Good thing for us I always carry my handy dandy little vegan notebook! haha its really just a regular small notebook that i write down vegan things in, like cookbooks to buy, food to cook, blogs to creep, etc etc. I actually already have a vegan bake sale page in it too =)
